Delete your BookYourPTO account

How to permanently delete your BookYourPTO account (operated by AnHourTec) and the personal data associated with it.

You can request deletion of your BookYourPTO account and personal data at any time, directly from the app or by contacting us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Delete your account from the app

In the BookYourPTO mobile app (or web app), follow these steps:

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Email me a confirmation code. A 6-digit code is sent to your registered email address.
  4. Enter the code and confirm. Your account and personal data are permanently deleted, and you will no longer be able to sign in.

Note: organization owners (Executives) will see Delete organization instead, which permanently deletes the organization and all of its data.

2. Or request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account and we'll process your deletion request:

Please include the email address associated with your BookYourPTO account so we can verify and action your request.

3. What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted / anonymized: your name, email address, password, profile details, phone numbers, address, date of birth, emergency contacts, bank and payroll details, tax IDs, saved signatures, uploaded documents, sign-in logs, trusted devices, notifications, and any in-app assistant history.

Retained in anonymized form: to keep your organization's records (such as leave and expense totals) consistent, some entries are retained with your identity removed and shown as "Deleted User." Audit logs required for security and legal compliance are retained with the actor anonymized.

Retention period: personal data is deleted or anonymized immediately upon a confirmed request. Anonymized records and compliance logs are retained only for as long as required to meet legal, accounting, and security obligations, after which they are deleted.

4. Accounts managed by your employer

BookYourPTO is used by organizations to manage their employees. If your account was created by your employer, your employer is the data controller for the employment records they hold. Deletion of your personal account may be subject to your organization's data-retention obligations. For questions about your employer's records, please contact your organization's administrator.
